Type 1 Mathematics Internal Assessment
Please review the following information over April break. We will have 1 class session after the break before we begin working on the Internal Assessment.
1. Here is the Power point I gave in class.
2. An Introduction to the Mathematics SL Internal Assessment
This document gives you an over view of Type 1 and Type 2 IAs and the official grading rubric I will be using to assess you. You should know this document in side and out!
3. Examples of previous Type 1 tasks from years past.
Have a look at a few of these Type 1 tasks to get an idea of what a type 1 task looks like.
There are 3 specimen tasks (Continued Fractions, Kosh Snow Flake, and Matrix Powers) as well as workings from 2 different students for the "Matrix Powers" task.
4. Infinite Summations IA (from 2011)
Student example: This would be considered "7" work.
